In response to the growing need for emotional and spiritual care for law enforcement officers, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) has developed the Law Enforcement Chaplain Training Program (LECTP), taught by former law enforcement officers. This Biblically-based training is free of charge and open to active-duty/retired law enforcement officers, chaplains, pastors, and anyone interested in serving law enforcement.

In addition, as part of the course, chaplains will receive certification from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation per their “Assisting Individuals in Crisis” training which we have incorporated into the course curriculum.
The course is taught by David Rutledge who is a retired lieutenant from the Asheville, NC Police Department, and Robert Gamble who is a retired Lieutenant from the Greenville, SC Police Department. Bob is also a licensed SC pastoral counselor who specializes in working with first responders.
